Nick Abrams, Executive Editor of Gaming on Batteries Magazine, put the newer Kid Icarus title through the paces in the first issue of Gaming on Batteries Magazine. Nick has been a fan of Kid Icarus since his debut on the Nintendo Entertainment System back in the 80′s following him through the years in each release that at least contained a cameo appearance.
Gaming on Batteries Magazine focuses on portable gaming in general, not one platform over another. GoB Mag doesn’t unnecessarily fill pages with “fluff” that is there for the sole purpose of saying the magazine is over this many pages. The mag doesn’t have editorial pages from every editor wasting valuable space that is better served having game reviews and features printed there instead. Full page pics that serve no real purpose won’t be in our mag either. These are all problems we see with other magazines, both what could be considered the pros and what could be called enthusiast mags.
Other content in the first issue of Gaming on Batteries Magazine #1 includes:
Reviews of:
Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D on 3DS
Kid Dracula on Game Boy
Virtua Tennis Challenge on Android
Rayman Origins on PS Vita
Transformers G1: Awakening on iOS
and the following Features:
8 Essential Game Boy Games
E3 Focused on Portables
