Sega has never been a stranger to sports games (at least from the Genesis days, prior to that, well Sega didn’t have much of an identity in the face of the Nintendo juggernaut), specifically hitting gold when they entered the tennis market with Virtua Tennis on Dreamcast (yes it took several systems and many years to finally find their niche). Virtua Tennis was always, from day one, the definitive human pong simulation available.
For the first time on Android, tennis fans have a successful and competitive tennis title to enjoy. Virtua Tennis Challenge is, for all intents and purposes, a console title in portable format. Bringing along 50 challengers and 18 tennis pros VTC doesn’t have the shortcomings of most console to portable transitions (no females though, sorry Petra Cetkovská or Maria Sharapova fans, they missed the flight this time- maybe in an update).
Supporting three different modes, SPT World Tour, Exhibition and Multiplayer, VTC is set to go 30 love before you realize the ball has been served.
