PUBG Mobile Update Brings New Map, Weapons, Vehicles

PUBG Mobile

Look, I know you are probably tired of reading about PUBG by now. I get it. You either love this game, and its genre, or you hate it and don’t understand what everyone sees in it. I am one of the people that enjoys it. Therefore, we have articles such as this. The new September update brings a new map, Sanhok, new weapons, new vehicles, and generally more mayhem for players to battle through in their quest for that elusive chicken dinner.

Statistically, PUBG Mobile is going strong. Even when excluding China, Korea, and Japan, the mobile version saw 20 million daily players – that is a literal crap ton. During season 2, the previous 14 week period, more than 130 million players across 200 countries earned almost 900,000,000 chicken dinners. That is a lot of food on the table.

New weapons and vehicles now available to PUBG Mobile players include the flare gun (calls in an airdrop), QBZ, Muscle Car, and bulletproof UAZ.

This update brings new options for reporting cheaters (as well as better detection).

The Sanhok map is smaller and more contained, which means more action and faster matches in a new scenario. This is great news for players that want something a little bigger than Arcade mode offers or for players wanting to play the Classic Mini Map mode (but it is not available due to calendar black outs).

Head over to the iTunes App Store or Google Play and grab the update, or install PUBG Mobile brand new, and drop in. I play under the name “triverse” and am waiting to meet you either as a friend or foe – either way, we are going to have a blast.

PUBG Mobile is available on the iTunes App Store and Google Play for free but contains In App Purchases so please use discretion when playing.
