Growing up playing Atari 2600 then Nintendo NES games on up to the Playstation 2, I have seen my fair share of puzzle games. Some were good, some were bad and some were “what the hell is this?” One that stuck out in my mind as a better title, and one that is not that often copied, was Puzznic. Sure it had re-releases throughout the years on other platforms but there wasn’t ever a clone market for it like Mario and Sonic enjoyed.

Phime Studio, out of Zrenjanin, Serbia, are taking a crack at the Puzznic style of puzzle on iOS. Join Dale Hardshovel, an Australian archaeologist, in his efforts to match up artifacts to clear levels (over 100) to save his daughter.

“Dale is working in his study, when his daughter Daisy rushes in, holding a piece of an old papyrus which needs to be translated for her exhibition.
Intrigued by the papyrus, Dale checks his archaeological network and finds out that the inscription is the belonging of an ancient brotherhood from Egypt, and the only key to the translation is the mysterious Bloomstone.
