It is an understatement to say that Angry Birds is a hit but there is one area that those little feathery creatures have not traversed 3D. While there are a few 3D physics based destruction games, they have mostly been rather basic in the graphics department.

Carl Williams recently came to me to give me an opportunity to write for Gaming on Batteries, in the form of Codemon coverage. After speaking with Raul Portales through e-mails, and deciding an interview was the best way to present Codemon to our readers, I drafted several questions I’d hoped he hadn’t answered one hundred […]
The Order of the Dragon is at it again, stealing the world’s most valuable and precious artifacts and the authorities can’t stop them. That is the basis of the story here in Mystery Estate. You have been drafted into the secret League, no “of something” or anything like that, simply the “League”.
Stan Lee, the man behind some of the biggest comic book successes in history, from The Fantastic Four to The X-Men, has moved over to iOS games. With Verticus, we get that trademark Stan Lee quality permeating from everything including storyline to graphics. This looks like a motion comic book. Stop before you turn to […]
Endless running games are getting a little long in the tooth. Plain and simple. This could be said of any genre that has gained popularity with some gamers versus others (a category I am quickly joining). That is why I’ve waited so long to review Ragdoll Run on Windows Phone.
It is no secret that I am a fan of “Battle Bejeweled” type games such as Puzzle Quest. That is why, when I saw Spellcreepers: Prelude I knew it was a title that I had to write a news post about and help promote to our readers.
Growing up playing Atari 2600 then Nintendo NES games on up to the Playstation 2, I have seen my fair share of puzzle games. Some were good, some were bad and some were “what the hell is this?” One that stuck out in my mind as a better title, and one that is not that […]
Namco Bandai have just released a new Garfield game onto the iTunes and Google Play stores. Nothing wrong with that other than the style of game. A running game featuring Garfield? Really? Whomever was project manager on this probably has no clue who Garfield is, or the, lack of, motivation he faces every day in […]
Over on our sister site, Gaming on Nintendo, we have some rather interesting news about the impending release of a rare, unofficial, Resident Evil 2 tech demo soon to be released.
Space is quickly filling up with junk, maybe not a problem now but just wait another 50 to 100 years and it will be more dangerous than traversing the morning rush hour traffic. According to Nasa, there are over 100 million pieces of space junk floating in Earth orbit right now that are 1 centimeter […]
Genre mixing has quickly become the norm on mobile devices. We had this happen with Puzzle Quest and it’s mix of Role Playing Game and Bejeweled puzzle elements. Here, Big Fish Games have mixed solitaire and the game of golf. Yes, cards and a game that is pretty much 100% outside and takes years to […]
Many have tried to dethrone the mighty Nintendo from their pedistal built around hand held gaming. Those same companies have failed, some damn near into bankruptcy over their failed hand helds. It takes clout, it takes deep pockets and exclusive titles to even make a dent in the armor that the Game Boy built.
